Anime Style Jon- An anime style pic of Jon I did a while ago for the sole purpose of having a label for a Bon Jovi tape. Colored w/ colored pencils.
Furry Jon- I've been huge into furries lately and this was my first real attempt at one. Jon just seemed to fit as a cougar. Colored and edited w/ PhotoMAX Pro 2.0.
Sexy Cougar Jon- It is what it says it is. He's a little lopsided considering I drew him with a fountain pen. He's also one of the first of my new style of furries. Drawn w/ a Caligraphy/fountain pen and colored w/ colored pencils.
John Bongiovi- He's not really Jon, he's my Neopet and a character in a furry story I'm writing. John Bongiovi isn't really his name either, he's a runaway who took the name to keep a low profile and to honor his favorite rocker. Can you guess what picture this was inspired by? Colored w/ Picture It! Express and PhotoMAX Pro 2.0.
These Days Cougar- Another furry of Jon w/ his These Days hair style. I did this one in Theology class toward the end of the year when we were supposed to be reviewing for exams, but instead my class decided to ask the teacher (from Massachusetts) to say a ton of words since they found her accent so interesting. I think he's my favorite furry Jon I've drawn so far. I think he's actually reflected in the cougar's face.
My Dream- This one was inspired by the best dream I've had in my life so far. In the dream my family drove to Jon's home to visit him and he greeted me with the most realistic hug. I swear I could actually feel someone's arms around me, but no one was there when I woke up. We weren't furry in the dream although I drew it that way. It was done the same day as the above picture. Yamcha Bon Jovi- I'm a huge Dragonball Z fan and it was actually the reason why I started my obsession w/ hair bands so I feel this picture appropriate. Yamcha (my fav DBZ character; he has the hair band look) is pictured here dressed up as Jon. I think he's singing "What You Want", although I didn't finish it yet. I'll tell you when I know for sure. Keep checking back for the updates.
Manga Style Jon- Another manga/anime style drawing of Jon. Did this one while I was taking standardized tests, those can get so boring. I think this is a better manga style for drawing him.
Furry Dave- Look! I drew Dave Bryan! As an Ocelot! Something about that adorable ocelot picture on my art folder just screamed David. I need to work on drawing him more to get his face just right. And I know I missed his tatoos, but I drew this off the top of my head & w/o a pic of Dave so the tats wouldn't look right anyway.
Naked- Don't ask what was going through my mind when I drew this, cuz I couldn't tell you. I guess it was just one of those days. He looks pretty good though. *Drool* Nice body Jon.
Jumpin' Cougar Jon- I love how this came out. It's just the way I imagined it. I was filling through furry art on my computer one day and the urge hit to draw a video-like pose of Jon. I guess it's the spur of the moment things that come out best. I think I'll color this one.
Always- This one really needs no explaination. It's a picture of Jon right from the Always video transformed into a cougar. The second in my BJ video series.
Jon Relaxing- Doesn't he look relaxed? I drew this one day when I wished I was at Pizza Hut, can you see the resemblence? Cougar Jon's relaxing in his tight leather pants w/ his feet up and his beer waiting for him. Colored w/ Picture It! Express.
Furry Richie- I was supposed to be working the day I sketched this and the girl I was "working" w/ loved his hair. Richie is a Caracal here. I know I can do better than this, but this was the only Richie I've done so far besides the taur which I didn't have time to scan(you can only see his back anyway).
John's Concert- It's the Kougra again, this time he's waiting to go see Bon Jovi in concert. I wasn't excited at all for the Hershey concert now was I? :P I drew this the day before the concert while being bored to death at a family reunion. Thank God for cd walkmans.
Young Jon & R2-D2- I drew this the day before the concert too... and I wasn't even listening to R2-D2 We Wish You A Merry Christmas. All of a sudden I just thought it'd be cute to draw a young cougar Jon hugging R2-D2. It did come out cute. And look at all those curls! ^_^
A Younger Jon- I finally scanned one of my life-like drawings of Jon. This was my favorite one, although I don't know exactly why I even drew it. Kinda looks like it'd be dated back to the first Bon Jovi album. The shadows kinda got lost in the scanning process.
A More Human Furry of Jon- This was inspired by another artist's furry rendition of themself. I drew a lot of anime/manga style stuff like this, but this was my first more realistic looking one. I drew it after seeing Bon Jovi on MTV's "Live And Almost Legal". I was going to kill my cat because of this one because she scratched it up & I didn't think I'd be able to fix it. The scan looks better than the original.
Sunset- I painted something! It's a miracle! A cougar Jon standing on a cliff watching the sunset. You can't see it in the scan, but there is a shimmering gold cast to the sunset in the original. The original of this looks much better than the scan.
Shanarah Meets Jon- One of my furry characters, Shanarah, meets a furry, drunk JBJ who looks as if he's gonna fall off of his bar stool. I don't know what brought this about. I guess I was in a silly mood, and this was the product. The shading on the original cam out really nice, and the scan doesn't look too bad.
Bitter Wine- I was on a Bitter Wine kick when I drew this. I fell in love with the song the first time I heard it and knew I had to make an illustration. I love how the pose came out and Jon's looking very sexy as a (naked) cougar.
Runaway Cougar- Honestly I didn't know what to call this because I didn't just want to call it Runaway since I'll probably take a scene right from the vid for that. Runaway Cougar was the only appropriate name I could think of. If anyone has a better title please tell me & I'll give you credit for the title here. It's a drawing of furry Jon dressed in an outfit like the one he wears in the vid for Runaway.
Sulky Jon- I was laying face down on my bed when this image came into my mind. I pulled out a piece of paper, pencils & erasers & sketched this out quick. Originally I was going to have him looking at mail, but I ran out of room on the paper. :P It still came out like I imagined, the scan isn't too bad either. It kept most of the shadows.
Bon Jovi Is Here!- Not really a drawing, bubble letters saying Bon Jovi Is Here! drawn at about 12:01 am on July 22. No, I wasn't excited. ^_~
I Want You- None of the guys are in this picture, but it is one of 2 possible scenarios for a story I'm writing. This is obviously the "I Want You" scenario. The other is the "I Saw Red" scenario which you can probably imagine after seeing this picture. Either Shanarah (tigress) will leave Ebony (black panther) or Vice Versa. I have to find out which one works out better. Lyrics added w/ PhotoMAX Pro 2.0.
It's My Life- My first Bon Jovi related drawing. I was obsessed with Duo Maxwell at the time as well as BJ. Duo fit the part w/ the leather & long hair. He also has a nice voice. ^_~
Furry Jon *Color Pencil*- This is the colored pencil version of "Furry Jon." I like this one better because the color is better an the shadows came out cool.
Thank You For Loving Me- This is one of my first BJ releted drawings also featuring Duo. When I drew this I was obsessed with angels and After listening to Crush over and over again I just got this crazy idea in my head & put it on paper. Its very obvious symbolism. I luv this picture because it actually came out how I hoped it would. Lyrics added w/ PhotoMAX Pro 2.0.
Bon Jovi Forever- Another BJ related pic featuring Duo. Boredom in Spanish class strikes again. Duo sports the Bon Jovi Forever shirt. I still want that one.
Another Sexy Cougar- This is the first one, but I just didn't have time to scan it before. This is probably the best of the three images. I couldn't tell you why I did it. I did it after the frustrations of the play (Wonderful Town), probably to release stress and also to practice this style of furries. Not bad for a second with a new style.
Sexy Cougar With A Rose- The second of the three "Sexy" cougars. I don't know how I got away with drawing this in school, although the boys did try to get me in trouble. I had finally taught myself to draw a rose and had drawn the first of the "sexies." I do like this one. *growl*
Pay It Forward- I had just seen "Pay It Forward" then the next morning I drew this furry in Brit. Lit. I'm not implying that it was a boring class, but that somedays we didn't do much work & I had the time to draw stuff like this. Some of the shadows were lost in the scan, but most are still there. I also lost some while trying to get rid of the lines since i did it on notebook paper.
Jon's Back- No pun intended. I did this the same day as "These Days Cougar", "SWW" and "Pay It Forward." A pretty good day for art I'd say. ^_^ I wanted to draw a furry of him at a different angle and with his current hair style. I like it. It's...different.
SWW- It resembles the pic of Jon in the SWW insert. I drew it while sitting in the car at the grocery store and had the urge to draw a non-furry pic of Jon for a change. Check it out.
Hey God- Drew this while "working" and listening to Hey God. A pretty good furry sketch of Jon singing Hey God. I didn't put the lyrics on it yet. The tattoo isn't too great though.
Jon and Richie Taurs- I had been looking at a lot of taur art when I decieded to draw this one. In case you don't know what a taur is, it's animal with 6 legs instead of 4 and usually walks on 4 of them. Jon, cougar-taur, and Richie, caracal-taur, shaking hands. This is the one showing only Richie's back. Not bad for a first at taurs.
Blaze Of Glory- Cougar Jon furry singing Blaze of Glory. This was drawn the same night as "Young Jon" and came out pretty darn good. I watched the Blaze video after drawing it to decide what part of the song he was singing. It's a pretty realistic furry and one of my favorites to date.
Livin' On A Prayer- The first in a series of furry images from the Bon Jovi videos. I have completed 3 of the 4 I've started. These images are all self explanatory.
Lay Your Hands On Me- The 4th of the video series so far. This one is unfinished. I need to finish the stage & the pictures on his coat. Other than that I really like this one so far.
Tired Cougar- Just an idea of how he might feel when he gets home after a tour.
Toriyama Style Jon- I replaced the headshot of Jon in Toriyama's style with a colored version of the full sketch on my Spanish notebook. I have two versions of this picture. You can see the second one here. The only difference between this one and the first is blonde highlights in Jon's hair. He looks so cute w/ the big grin. :P Colored w/ Picture It! Express.
Heart Logo Body Art- Boredom took over one day while I was watching Dragonball Z so I got out my glitter pens and started drawing... on my arm. I have to admit, I didn't think it would turn out this well. The colors in the photo are a bit off, but I also have a scanned version of this where the colors are about right, but the logo itself got kind of stretched.
Jon Taur- This is a sketch on the back cover of my World Lit. notes. A rather cute cougar taur. My little JFB(see below) logo is next to him. I have to be careful not to leave this notebook alone too long unless I want it to be vandalized. Ahem.
J. F. B.- Hmmm. This doesn't seem that creative, but I thought it looked really pretty. It's Jon's initials surrounded by a vine of roses and some hearts. This is in my World Lit. notebook I believe. I have a lot of free time on my hands in that class. :P
More Than We Bargained For- A short comic strip which I've had in my head for some time now. It's an illustration of the second verse of More Than We Bargained For. It features John Bongiovi the kougra as "my best friend", Shanarah the white tigress as the girl or "you", and Jon Bon Jovi the cougar as himself. This is one of my very few FINISHED comic strips, most are started and never finished.
March Angel- This piece came out beautifully, more beautifully than I hoped for. The idea came about when I was looking at the birthday things at Hallmark, and I saw birthstone angels with wings tipped in the color of the birthstones. As I was turning away the idea to draw Jon as the birthstone angel for March came to me. When I got home I turned on Animal Planet, got out my pencils & paper and started drawing. I never imagined it would come out this nice. The aqua color on the tips of the wings looks incredible on the original, of course the scanner lost some of the color. Colored w/ Crayola Colored Pencils.
Jon Crying- I started drawing this picture this past summer and was wondering what he'd be crying about. Between what happened on September 11 and early this month, I'm feeling bad about this picture. I finally finished it to add to my portfolio and thought I'd let my brothers & sisters in Bon Jovi take a look.
Cougar Taur Character Designs- Originally I was just working on character designs with this piece, but he came out looking like a cougar Jon so I'm posting him here. I may do some more work on the bottom one since his anatomy is strange looking. I hope no one's offended by the animal anatomy in this picture.
SWW Era Cougar- After passing my Thermodynamics test I had enough time to sketch this & added to it throughout the day. It's based on an actual picture of Jon from the SWW era. I really like the design on the shirt, not true to his actual shirt, but the Chinese style is there.
Christmas Cougar- I'm finally getting into the Christmas mood and Jon has the honor of modeling the Santa hat. ^_^ Happy Holidays Everyone!!! Text added w/ Picture It! Express.
I Wear My Sunglasses At Night- It's been a while since I've done any BJ art, but when I got the boxed set I just had to draw some more Jon. This is the first of three I did.
